We are moving right along. We took all the lights and bulbs we've purchased to the house today. We had to separate it all, label it and put it in it's nearest designated spot. The lights we bought using our credit will be picked up directly from the lighting center tomorrow or Tuesday. We did forget our down rods (boo!) so I have to take them out there tomorrow. I also miscalculated and I was short a few bulbs in the correct wattage/style.
The GREAT part was that ALL of the hardwood is installed! It's amazing! It was covered for the most part so I could only see it in sections around the perimeters of the rooms. Everything was pretty dusty too, I took pictures but they aren't the best because of the dust. We went about 3:00 and I could get an idea of where the sun would shine in on the house...I'm definitely going to have window treatments up soon. Addison's room and our room both get a ton of light and it was blinding! I may purchase some of those light filtering temporary blinds until I know what I want to use exactly.
The lumber has been delivered for the deck/porch. We are supposed to have a completely rain-free week this week which is good. The landscaper showed up at the house when we were there to tell us he was scoping it out to see how many plants to bring. He said he'll be back tomorrow and should finish up on Tuesday. We get sod in the front and hydro-seed in the back. He made the comment that "there was going to be like 200 subs at the house tomorrow" which tells me it's going to super packed with people trying to finish up. Our SR told us it's going to be crazy busy but that the good thing was everything that was left normally only takes the trades a few hours to do...it's just a matter of getting them there. The exterior still hasn't been painted and no stone work has been done. Very surprising, until I remember how rainy it was on Saturday.
