We have been in one week! Some room pictures

We have been in one week today!

We were able to have our walk through last Thursday and then we started moving right after. We had lots of help so that was great. There are still several things the builder has to do from our punch list. Today the flooring company came out and touched up/replaced some hardwood planks and fixed some carpet and grout.

They still have to come wash the windows and install the screens, touch up some drywall and paint and a few other miscellaneous things.

We saved our vacation all year so we could be off for 2 straight weeks and it has been great. We go back to work next week. We have been able to accomplish a lot in this last week!

The pictures for today are of the dining room, office and front entry. They are the most put together.

I took these at night so the lighting isn't great, ill retake when more is done! I reupholstered the dining chairs and also painted them with Annie Sloan chalk paint in duck egg blue then did a clear and dark wax finish.

The screens for the windows is sitting to the right...I also need something
to go on that red table in the corner

The office. the chairs won't be staying because my desk will go there.
I'm waiting on it to be painted now; it is a vintage tanker desk being
refinished in gunmetal grey:)

More screens in the background!

I painted both of these pieces. The top was my mother in law's and it was
a shiny silver; I painted it with Annie Sloan cocoa and then dry brushed it with
old white. The buffet was a $50 find and I painted it with duck egg blue and clear wax.

Looking towards the front door. I made that pallet wood art last year before we sold our
old house. I love Bon Jovi's music and this is from one of my favorite songs by him :)

I will be posting more soon once I get rooms halfway organized :)
